Senior BJP leaders during the key meeting in Delhi
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) intensified its focus on the ongoing electoral process on Wednesday, with the party’s national president Jagat Prakash Nadda spearheading the evaluation of campaign strategies on the ground.
Today, at a key meeting in New Delhi, BJP chief Nadda assessed the party’s approach at the booth level, determining tactical interventions to enhance voter engagement.
The meeting was attended by senior party functionaries, including Delhi election in-charge and party’s national Vice-President Baijayant Panda, and Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva. The BJP is reinforcing its grassroots efforts, concentrating on mobilising voters to maximise participation and awareness during this electoral phase.
According to BJP insiders, the meeting underscored the commitment to candidate visibility and voter encouragement, reflecting broader concerns over turnout that could impact the electoral outcome.
“People are voting against the corrupt government (AAP-led); hence, the Government has started resorting to fake voting practices. Just now we got the information that in the Kasturba Nagar Assembly constituency of New Delhi, fake voters have been nabbed while they were attempting to cast votes,” the Delhi BJP president expressed.
“Similar information is also coming from several parts of Delhi. After learning that defeat is a must for them in this poll, Arvind Kejriwal and his party have resorted to fake voting, when liquor and hooliganism did not work,” the Delhi BJP president stated.
Police in New Delhi have nabbed some persons, the Delhi BJP leader said.
“I appeal to the people of Delhi to stay away from these people’s lies; come out and vote for ‘double-engine sarkar’. Do vow to make Delhi a Viksit Capital of Viksit Bharat. Vote in large numbers and drive out these manipulators from here,” Sachdeva added.
