A tragic incident unfolded in Rajasthan’s Churu district on Wednesday after a Jaguar Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter jet crashed shortly after its takeoff, defence sources confirmed. The mishap has left the nation in shock, as the pilot was found dead in the wreckage, as per initial reports. According to Republic TV, two deaths have been reported from the crash site. 

Jet Took Off From Suratgarh Airbase

According to officials, the ill-fated aircraft had taken off from the IAF’s Suratgarh airbase before losing contact and crashing in the Churu region. The cause of the crash is yet to be ascertained.

Rescue Teams Rushed to Site

As soon as the news broke, local police teams and IAF rescue personnel were deployed to secure the area and initiate an investigation. The crash site has been cordoned off to prevent civilian interference as defence experts examine the debris.

Pilot’s Identity Yet to Be Revealed

While the pilot’s body has been recovered from the mangled remains of the jet, authorities have not yet released the identity pending official confirmation and family notification.
