The government of India will fill up 10 lakh government vacancies in a mission mode.

After reviewing the status of Human Resources in all ministries and departments, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday instructed that the recruitment of 10 lakh people be done by the government in mission mode in the next 1.5 years.

BJP National Vice-President, Baijayant Panda hailed PM Modi's decison. In a tweet, Panda wrote, "Great opportunity for youngsters that gives them the chance to be a part of India's Growth story. 10 lakh job opportunities that too in Govt sector only is a testament to the fact that our's is the fastest growing economy and we are on the path to be a $ 5 trillion economy."

 

Welcoming the Prime Minister's instruction, union minister Anurag Thakur tweeted: "PM @narendramodi ji has over the years made government more accountable and governance more people centric, ensuring last mile delivery. Enhancing the strength of the Govt to meet the targets and opportunities towards the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat is another major step."

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said, “A significant people-centric decision that will further strengthen the employment scenario and bring a lot of cheer and optimism for India’s youth.”

"Accountability, people-centric governance and meeting targets before deadline is a hallmark of PM Modi's govt. All vacant teaching & non-teaching posts in HEIs, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas and other departments will be filled-up at the earliest," tweeted Pradhan.
