Centre releases Rs 1,39,750 crore installment of Tax Devolution to states; Rs 6327.92 crore to Odish
The Ministry of Finance has announced the release of an additional installment of Tax Devolution to States, totaling Rs 1,39,750 crore for the month of June 2024.
This brings the cumulative devolution to Rs 2,79,500 crore for the fiscal year 2024-25, up to June 10, 2024.
This additional release aims to facilitate State Governments in expediting development and capital spending.
The Interim Budget for 2024-25 has earmarked Rs 12,19,783 crore for the devolution of taxes to States.
