Bengaluru B.Tech student caught recording private videos of women in college washroom
In yet another shameful incident, an engineering student in Bengaluru was caught recording private videos of women in the college washroom. The accused even circulated the videos on social media. A massive protest broke out at the college campus after the women students caught the accused and demanded his arrest.
To make matters worse, the 21-year-old accused, a BE student allegedly threatened to kill the complainants when they caught him red-handed.
He threatened them with dire consequences if they escalated the issue and reported to the college authorities after he was caught red-handed. The suspect has been identified as Kushal K, a final-year computer science student hailing from Chikkagollarahatti, near Magadi, the Deccan Herald reported.

The matter came to light after a few women students noticed Kushal’s phone positioned near a restroom cubicle and screamed, drawing the attention of other students. When the students opened the bathroom door, they found Kushal hiding inside. Later, the students brought Kushal to the principal who confessed to recording the videos in the washroom.
As per preliminary reports, the accused student has been arrested. Bengaluru police have recovered at least eight videos from his cell phone.
The incident sparked tension in the villages as hundreds of students, both male and female, gathered on the campus, demanding strict action against the accused. The agitating students also demanded proper safety so that no one could repeat the incident in the future.
Bengaluru police said an investigation is underway to see if the accused student is a habitual offender, the Mint reported.
