Audience Top Priority, Good Content Always Works: Odisha Television Network's Litisha Mangat Panda

Our audiences are our priority and to give them the content they like or enjoy watching is important, said Senior Business Associate of Odisha Television Network, Litisha Mangat Panda, who participated in the DIGINEWS World Conference 2024, held in New Delhi on Friday. 

“Our audiences are our priority. To give them the content they like or they enjoy watching is important. From working so many years in the media and entertainment industries, what I have realized is good content will work everywhere irrespective of being in digital space, regional space or television space. If it is a good content, it will work,” she said. 

“I think be it news or entertainment people want great storytelling. So, the visual medium takes the cake. Visual storytelling is something that people are really going to do. Secondly, with smartphone penetration, people are habituated to watching something. And then there is the cultural engagement. I think that is the only factor that changes from state to state or from language to language. Every state audience wants to watch something that they will be able to relate to their own tradition, identity or language,” she added. 

Idris Loya, CEO and Head of Innovation & Technology IDPL and Neha Tandon, Revenue Head, ABP Digital also took part in the discussion.
