Watch: 2 tourists stranded in Nagavali river in Odisha's Rayagada

In a bone-chilling visual coming from Nagavali river in Rayagada district, two tourists who had visited the site had a harrowing experience after they were stranded in the middle of the river on Sunday.

The two had to take shelter on a huge stone while the raging water from the river hit them. However, they are safe, reports said. The two tourists from Podapadi area under Kashipur block had visited the tourist site but were stuck in the middle of the river after the water-level swelled up due to incessant rainfall since the last couple of days.

 

Reports said, efforts are on to rescue the two. On being informed, fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and started the rescue operation.
