Under- Construction Railway Over Bridge Collapses In Boudh   

An under-construction railway over bridge (ROB) on the Khordha-Bolangir line near Purumunda village in Khaliapali area in Boudh district collapsed on Saturday. 

As per reports, the incident occurred when the roof of the bridge was being laid out. 

Though there was no immediate report of any injury in the mishap, the cave in has resulted in obstruction of traffic in the road that connects a nearby school. The snapping of communication to the school has caused resentment among locals.

They alleged that the use of substandard construction materials led to the mishap. However, the construction company engaged in the work and the concerned authorities are yet to come up with their statement over the incident.
