Two dead, seven hurt in separate mishaps in Odisha

Two persons lost their lives while another was critically injured in a road mishap that occurred in Balia area on the outskirts of Balasore on Sunday. 

The deceased have been identified as Paresh and Bhalu. 

As per sources, the duo along with another person was on their way to Golei of Remuna on a motorcycle when the two-wheeler hit a divider near Bhimpur. 

The trio sustained critical injuries and was shifted to the district headquarters hospital with the help of the locals. However, two of them were pronounced dead by the doctors. 

The injured was undergoing treatment at the hospital. 

In another mishap, six members of a family were critically injured after the car they were traveling in hit a tree near Jhimiripali on National Highway 149 in Angul district. The family members were on their way to Ghatagaon Tarini temple from Phulbani.
