A day after Cuttack special POCSO court judge Subas Kumar Bihari was found dead under mysterious circumstances, his family members on Saturday made some startling revelations, giving a new twist to the entire incident.

Refuting any suicide angle, the mother and relatives of deceased alleged that his wife and brother-in-law killed Subhas and orchestrated the act in such a manner to make others believe it to be a suicide.

“My son’s wife and his brother-in-law have murdered him and made it look like a suicide. They were not allowing him to come to our house and even preventing him from communicating with our family,” alleged Subas mother.

According to information, Subas’ parents will approach Markatnagar police station today to lodge a formal complaint with murder allegations against his wife and brother-in-law.

Meanwhile, relatives of the deceased judge have demanded for a high-level probe into the death case. Cousin brother of Subas claimed that it was a well-planned murder.

There were injury marks over Subas’ body but his mortal remains were not handed to us nor shown to our family. We demand that the responsibility of investigation into the case be handed over to a top independent agency like the CBI.

On the other hand, the wife of the deceased judge has not commented anything regarding the allegations level against her.

Subas was found hanging at his official residence at CDA sector-9 in the city on Friday. He was on leave from work for two days and was scheduled to rejoin the office on Friday. However, he had again applied for leave.

As per his family, he had planned to visit his ancestral house to perform the death anniversary ceremony of his late father.
