Shocking! 'Security personnel' molests woman devotee during Bahuda Yatra in Puri; video goes viral

While the entire world was soaked in devotion on the occasion of Bahuda Yatra of Lord Jagannath and his sibling deities in Puri on Saturday, a shameful video of a security personnel molesting a woman devotee during the return car festival of the Lords has surfaced on various social media platforms.

In the video, that has gone viral, the security personnel can be seen molesting the woman devotee taking the advantage of the huge crowd.

While the identity of the security personnel is yet to be ascertained, his act has hurt the sentiments of the devotees and drawn a sharp criticism from all corridors.

“Many such instances happen daily. But a very few raise their voice. I will request the security personnel to treat the women respectfully,” said a devotee.

“The act by the security staff is highly condemnable. We come from far off places just to get the darshan of the Holy Trinity. But, unfortunately we are misbehaved. This is not acceptable. The police department must ensure that every devotee should be treated with dignity,” demand another devotee.
