Raimohan had texted ‘bye’ to his wife, daughters in last message, say Mancheswar cops

At a time when people across Odisha are in shock over the death of popular Ollywood actor Raimohan Parida, a text message of the actor has now surfaced. The message was purportedly sent by the deceased actor to his wife and two daughters and it is being said to be his last message prior to his death.

Earlier, Raimohan’s body was found hanging from his residence at Prachi Vihar area in Bhubaneswar on Friday. It is suspected that Raimohan has ended his life by suicide. However, the exact reason on what drove Raimohan to resort to such extreme is still unclear.

As per Mancheswar Police, Raimohan had texted ‘bye’ along with the names of his two daughters. He had also sent bye message from his mobile phone to his wife.

Following Raimohan’s death, hundreds of fans, co-actors thronged his residence after getting the shocking news. Raimohan’s body was subsequently taken to Capital Hospital where autopsy was conducted.

Raimohan’s death has created a void in the Odia cinema industry. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also expressed grief over his demise.

“I am saddened to learn about the demise of Raimohan Parida. His sudden death has created a void in the industry. He had impeccable acting skills, he will always be remembered…,” tweeted Patnaik.

Earlier, senior actors including Siddhant Mahapatra, Sritam Das and others had also expressed shock over Raimohan’s death. Many of the actors stated that a person like Raimohan, who had seen lot of ups and downs in life, cannot end his life this way.
