Our marital life was peaceful until Prakruti Mishra’s entry: Babushaan's wife

Ollywood actor Tanmay Mohanty alias Babushaan's wife Trupti Satpathy, who got into an ugly fight with Prakruti Mishra, on Saturday, accused the actress of creating disturbances in their marital life.

Hours after her fight with her husband Babushaan and Prakruti Mishra on a busy Bhubaneswar street went viral, Trupti reached Kharvel Nagar police station with her mother-in-law Aparajita Mohanty and lodged a complaint. 

In her complainant, Trupti alleged, "Our marital life was peaceful until Prukruti Mishra, daughter of Manmath Mishra, came into our life and treated disturbances." 

She alleged that Prakruti established relationship with Babushaan to boost her career which she claimed was 'on a down trend because of the lockdown’. She further alleged that the actress supplied alcohol and ganja to Babushaan. 

"As my husband, Tanmay Mohanty was in an intoxicated state, 24x7, he never returned home neither was he providing me any financial and moral support," Trupti mentioned in the FIR.

She said though she tried to bring back her husband, Prakruti Mishra threatened her and her husband through various ways including blackmail and threat to commit suicide. 

"My husband was staying in Satya Nagar in a hired (rented) house with Prakruti Mishra which is nearer to my parents' house. Today morning when I went there to see whether my husband is there or not, I saw my husband and Prakruti Mishra were planning to go Chennai," Trupti alleged, adding, I confronted my husband and after verbal duel, I also slapped him for his deeds.

"Keeping in view the wellbeing of our family members, I have tried multiple times to mend things amicably," she said. 

"Under such circumstances of threat to me and my son's life, I have no other option but to take your assistance in the matter and request you to take necessary action as per law," she added.
