Odisha’s Pattachitra adorns wall of Danish PM's 18th century mansion

Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his meet with his Danish counterpart Mette Frederiksen at her 18th century official residence Marienborg on Tuesday spotted a Pattachitra painting of Odisha adorning the wall of the 18th century mansion. 

This was the same Pattachitra painting depicting the ‘Ram Durbar’ Prime Minister Modi had gifted her when she had visited India last year. 

In a tweet in Odia language, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan wrote about PM Modi coming across this Pattachitra.

Notably, Modi landed in Copenhagen on Tuesday and was received by Frederiksen at the airport and from there they went straight to Marienborg, the official residence of Denmark’s Prime Ministers since 1962.

The two leaders held discussions on how to enhance India-Denmark relations.
