Odisha Govt Transfers Intelligence Director Lalit Das, Koche Takes Addl Charge Of Intelligence

In a major development, Odisha government Monday transferred Intelligence Director Lalit Das.

The development has sparked speculation as the government has transferred the senior officer through a single order issued by the Home Department.

Sources said that as a major reshuffle in IPS cadre is likely, the transfer of the Intelligence Director has now become the talk in the power corridor of the State.

The senior IPS officer, Lalit Das, has now been posted as OSD, Home Department.

As per the Home Department notification, RP Koche, who is posted as Additional DG of Police, SAP, has been given additional charge of Director, Intelligence until further orders.
