Odisha effects major IPS reshuffle: New DCPs for Twin City; Sanjeeb Panda new Intelligence Director

Odisha government on Friday effected a major reshuffle in the IPS cadre. As a result, the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar have got new Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCP).

Bhubaneswar DCP, Umashankar Dash has been transferred and posted as Additional CP, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack. Similarly, Cuttack DCP Prateek Singh has also been transferred and will assume charge as Bhubaneswar DCP.

As per the notification issued by the Home Department, Berhampur SP Pinak Mishra has been appointed as Cuttack DCP.

Kalahandi SP, Sarvana Vivek has been transferred and now posted as Berhampur SP

Special DGP, SAP Manoj Kumar Chhabra is transferred and now posted as DG, Prisons, Director Correctional Services.

DG, Prisons, Director Correctional Services Santosh Upadhyay is now posted as DG, Fire Services, CG Home Guards and Director CD.

ADGP, CID-CB, Sanjeeb Panda is transferred and posted as Director Intelligence. He has also been given additional charge of OSPH & WC

Transport Commissioner, Arun Bothra is transferred and now posted as ADGP, CID-CB. He has also been given additional charge as Transport Commissioner.

Gajbhiye SK Ishwardas presently posted as Principal UP &TTI has been transferred and posted as IGP, Communication.

IGP Home Guards, Shefeen Ahamed is now posted as IGP, HRPC.

Additional CP, Niti Sekhar is now posted as DIG, WR, Rourkela.

Nabarangpur SP, Parmar Smit Parsshottamdas is now posted as Bargarh SP.

Bargarh SP, Rahul Jain has been transferred and posted as Jharsuguda SP.
