Odisha effects IAS reshuffle, Sanjay Kumar Singh given added responsibility of Rural Development

The Odisha government on Wednesday effected a IAS reshuffle involving some of the senior officers.

The General Administration department issued a notification in this connection on Wednesday.

As per the notice, Sanjay Kumar Singh, currently posted as the Principal Secretary of Information & Public Relation Department with additional charge of Vice-Chairman, Bhubaneswar Development Authority and M.D of Bhubaneswar Smart City Ltd has been appointed as Principal Secretary of Rural Development Department as well.

He is allowed to remain in additional charge of his earlier responsibilities as well.

Bishnupada Sethi, Principal Secretary to Government, School & Mass Education Department with additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Commerce & Transport Department has been appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department as well.

Sethi will remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Commerce & Transport Department.

The additional appointment of Saswata Mishra as Principal Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department will be terminated from the day Bishnupada Sethi takes over the charge.

On return from central deputation, Arabinda Kumar Padhee has been appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Agriculture & Farmers' Empowerment Department. He is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Fisheries & Animal Resources Development Department

The additional appointment of Sanjeev Chopra as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Agriculture & Farmers' Empowerment Department will stand terminated from the day Arabinda Kumar Padhee takes over.

Pradeep Kumar Jena’s appointment as Additonal Chief Secretary to Government, Rural Development Department shall stand terminated from the day Sanjay Kumar Singh takes over the charge.

On return from central deputation, Aswathy S has been appointed as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, School & Mass Education Department vice Bishnupada Sethi IAS transferred.
