Odisha dips in Vishwakarma Puja fervour

Lord Vishwakarma, who is known as the draftsman of the whole universe, is being worshipped across the nation with great pomp and gaiety today.

The holy day is observed on Kanya Sankranti every year and marks the birth anniversary of the brain child of Lord Brahma and world's architect.

It is believed that worshipping Lord Vishwakarma on this pious occasion brings prosperity in business, trade, commerce and industrial growth.

According to astrological determination, this year Vishwakarma puja will have three specific subh Muhurat (auspicious timings) for religious rituals and observance of other nitis.
