Nod to investment proposals worth Rs 2253 crore, job opportunity for over 3800; Check all details

The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority of Odisha on Thursday approved 11 investment projects worth Rs.2253 crore. The projects have direct employment potential of 3817, official sources said.

Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra has also directed the departments to facilitate early grounding of the projects. State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) meeting was held on virtual mode and was chaired by Mahapatra. 

The proposals approved are from various sectors like aluminum downstream, steel, food processing, infrastructure, oil and gas, information technology, electronic system designing and manufacturing. As most of the proposals are from downstream and manufacturing, the units will boost economic activities in their respective areas through generation of many indirect employment opportunities, the state government said in a release.

1.Fedders Electric and Engineering Limited: Iron Ore Beneficiation plant (Sundergarh)
