Miracle! Multiple brass idols excavated from under house in Cuttack

At least 14 brass idols were recovered from a person’s house at Naharanga village under Gatirout Patna Gram Panchayat in Cuttack district on Saturday.

The person has been identified as Dinabandhu Behera.

As per Dinabandhu, he got an order in his dream to excavate a certain place in his house to recover the idols. 

“I followed the order and excavated the particular place after offering worship. To my astonishment, I found 14 brass idols after digging around 15 feet under my bed,” said Behera.

Hundreds of people from the locality thronged the place to get a glimpse of the miraculous incident. Behera and family members are worshipping the idols at home. Cuttack Sadar police visited the spot and launched an investigation into the incident.

“I don’t want to hand over the recovered idols to the district administration. As per my dream, a temple will be established in the village and the idols will be installed there. I have informed local people about the incident and they are all excited,” said Behera.

“We all are happy over the development. We want to build a temple in the village and worship the idols,” said a villager.
