Three-year-old Pratyusha Senapati from Talada village under Puri’s Astaranga block who has already achieved a feat that no other kid of her age could do so. Pratyusha has been recognised by the India Book of Records for her amazing memory power.

From the names of capital cities in India to the National bird and animal, Pratyusha has the ability to answer all including a lot other general knowledge earning her fame as a child prodigy.

Lily Senapati, her mother said, “The guys from the India Book of Records asked her questions about freedom fighters, National symbol, Sanskrit Shlokas (Hymns), names of capital cities, names of Governors of all States and she answered all with ease. I am so happy for her.”

Similarly, 19 months old Shikta Vasudhara from Ranasarapur village under Jajpur’s Korei block has registered her name in the India Book of Records for identifying animals, fruits, vegetables, colors, human organs from pictures.

Still unable to speak, Vasundhara, the daughter of Surendra Majhi and Vijaylaxmi, is able to identify 21 animals, 14 birds, 15 fruits, 18 vegetables, 10 colors, 10 freedom fighters, three deities and 15 parts of the body.

Surendra Majhi told OTV, “We were surprised when we knew that she could memorise so much at this tender age. I am happy that she could get her name registered in the record books.”

Another such wonder kid is Arush from Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj district. Born to Sourav Sahu and Sonika Modak, six-year-old Arush has a claimed ability to see through the blindfold. His parents claim that Arush can read books, identify colors and numbers while being blindfolded.
