Love triumphs over hatred, a unique way to stop hate warfare

A unique amalgamation of two staunch Maoists left people stunned. As the proverb goes, "Everything is fair in love and war" the Maoists of the Nuapada region have proven it right once again.

Maoist Dalmati Kamar aka Madhuri from Kundenjharia village falling under the limits of Sinapali police station, tied knot with Rahul Mushaki aka Pintu of Chhattisgarh. Madhuri was an active Maoist under the Mounpur region in 2016-2017 and surrendered to Nuapada police on November 23, 2018, citing harassment against members of her own cadre.

Meanwhile, Pintu who used to be a dreaded Mao-young gun working under KKBM organization surrendered to SP Kandhamal in 2021. The couple got married with fanfare arranged by the Nuapada police in the presence of senior officials including SP Nuapada, Shri Pratyush Diwakar and, DIG (South Western Range) Shri Pandit Rajesh Uttamrao.

In the past, similar events took place at Bhawanipatna in February this year where hardcore Maoists, Ramdas and Kalam Dei of Chhattisgarh tied the knots after falling for each other while surrendering at a Surrender camp organised by the Kalahandi police.
