The second and last solar eclipse of 2021 will occur on December 4, 2021. As per Subendu Patnaik, deputy director of Pathani Samanta Planetarium, the last solar eclipse will not be visible in India and other parts of the country including Odisha.

The first solar eclipse of 2021 was witnessed on June 10 and the upcoming solar eclipse will be total. The upcoming solar eclipse will be seen in Antarctica, South Africa, South America and Australia.

The last solar eclipse of this year will not be visible in India. The solar eclipse on December 4 will start around 11 in the morning and will last till 3:07 in the afternoon. The duration will differ from country to country.

A solar eclipse occurs when the moon moves in front of the Sun as seen from a location on Earth. During solar eclipse, it gets dimmer and dimmer outside as more and more of the Sun is covered by the Moon.

According to Patnaik, there will be two solar and an equal number of lunar eclipses in 2022. The next Solar Eclipse in India will occur on October 25, 2022 and lunar eclipse on November 8, 2022. Both will be visible in India. The other two eclipses- Solar eclipse on April 30 and Lunar eclipse on May 16 will not visible in India.
