Kendrapara MP's Aide Accused Of Attacking Aul Village Residents

Bringing serious allegations against local MP's Aul block representative Nirmal Behera, a resident of Mulasahi village here in the district has alleged that the former was involved in staging a spate of attacks on him and his two sons, recently.

According to sources Maheswar Senapati and his two sons from Mulasahi village were allegedly attacked by some miscreants repeatedly on Sunday and Monday.
 
Though two separate complaints were lodged in this regard, the police is yet to take any action against the assailants, said Senapati, alleging Behera's involvement in the attack.

"Some hired goons of Nirmal Behera attacked us with iron rods. One Tipa is the leader of the group which attacked us after getting paid by Behera," alleged Senapati.

"It has been more than 3 days since we have lodged two separate complaints  in connection with the attack. However, the police is yet to make any arrest," said Pramila Senapati, the complainant.

Meanwhile refuting the allegations, Behera claimed the complaints against him are baseless and termed it as political vendetta against me.

"The charges levelled against me are baseless and this a political vendetta against me. The truth will come to fore after the completion of the investigation," Behera said.
