IPS Rejig: Sudhanshu Sarangi New ADG Of Police, Railway & Coastal Security 

Senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Sudhanshu Sarangi has been appointed as the Additional DG of Police, Railway and Coastal Security in a major reshuffle effected by the Odisha government on Wednesday. 

Sarangi, a 1990 batch IPS officer, is at present posted as the OSD, Home Department. Binyanand Jha, a 1988 batch IPS officer who is officiating as ADGP, OHRC, will replace Sarangi as the new OSD, Home Department. 

Pranabindu Acharya, IPS (RR. 1989) at present Additional DG of Police, Railway & Coastal Security, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, OHRC. 

Shefeen Ahmed K, IPS (RR. 2003) at present IGP, Technical, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Fire Service & Home Guard. Similarly, L. Divya V, IPS (RR. 2013) at present SP, CID-CB, has been transferred and posted as SP, Dhenkanal.
