IAS Vir Vikram Yadav Appointed New Chief Of Puri Jagannath Temple Administration

Senior IAS officer Vir Vikram Yadav has been appointed as the new Chief Administrator of Puri Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).

Yadav, a 1996 batch IAS officer will also spearhead the administrative affairs of State Food and Supplies and Works departments.

He will also act as the Commissioner of Trade Promotion and Investment, O/o CRC, Member Secretary, Odisha State Commission for Backward Classes and Chairman OSWC in addition to his own duties, mentioned a GA and PG department notice.

Yadav will replace 2002 IAS officer Krishan Kumar who has been relieved from the State government to join as the Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry for a tenure of five years.

The Odisha government on Saturday announced a reshuffle in the senior bureaucratic cadre and appointed Nikunja Kumar Sundaray as the Additional Chief Secretary to Public Enterprises Department.

Mona Sharma who was earlier appointed as ACS, Public Enterprises Department shall no longer hold the post.

Sanjeev Kumar Chadha, IFS (RR-1989), Special Secretary to Agriculture & Farmers' Empowerment Department is allowed to remain in additional charge of Secretary (l/c), Cooperation Department and Director, Agricultural Marketing & Ex-officio Member Secretary, OSAM Board in addition to his own duties.

Similarly, 2013 batch IAS officer, Shubham Saxena, Director, Minor Minerals has been appointed as Managing Director, Odisha Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd.

Saxena is allowed to remain in additional charge of Director, Minor Minerals, Joint Secretary to Agriculture & Farmers' Empowerment Department and Joint Secretary to Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Department in addition to his own duties, said the GA notice.
