ECoR announces special trains for Durga Puja, check list here

Anticipating huge rush of passengers during the festive season, the Railways have made elaborate arrangements to run some additional special trains towards different destinations for the convenience of the commuters. In view of this, some special trains will run from East Coast Railways (ECoR) jurisdiction towards different parts.

Here’s the list of special trains that will run during the festive occasions.

Special Train between Sealdah-Puri-Sealdah:

Special train, 03101, Sealdah-Puri Special Express from Sealdah will leave at 2350hrs (11.50 pm) on every Saturday from October 1 to 29, 2022. 

Meanwhile, train no- 03102, Puri-Sealdah Special Express from Puri will leave at 1550hrs (03.50 pm) on every Sunday from October 2 to 30, 2022. 

This train will provide stoppages at Bhattanagar, Andul, Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, and Khordha road between Sealdah and Puri from both directions.

Bhubaneswar-Tirupati-Bhubaneswar special train:

Train no- 02809, Bhubaneswar-Tirupati Special Super Fast Express from Bhubaneswar will leave at 1330hrs (01.30 pm) every Saturday from Oct 1 to 29, 2022. 

Train no- 02810, Tirupati-Bhubaneswar Special Super Fast Express from Tirupati will leave at 2000hrs (08.00 pm) every Sunday from Oct 2 to 30. 

Santragachhi-Puri special train:

Train no- 02837, Santragachhi-Puri Special Super Fast Express from Santragachhi will leave at 2035hrs (08.35 pm) on every Friday from Sept 30 to Oct 28, 2022. 

Train no- 02838 Puri-Santragachhi Special Super Fast Express from Puri will leave at 1920hrs (07.20 pm) on every Saturday from Oct 01 to 29, 2022.

Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Special Express:
 
Train no. 02832 Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad Special Express from Bhubaneswar will leave at 2025hrs (08.25 pm) on every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday till Dec 30, 2022. Train no- 02831, Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Special Express from Dhanbad will leave at 1600hrs (04.00 pm) on every Wednesday, Saturday and Monday till Dec 31, 2022. 

This train will provide stoppage at Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Talcher Road, Angul, Sambalpur City, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Hatia, Ranchi, Muri, and Bokaro Steel City between Bhubaneswar and Dhanbad from both the directions.

Puri-Patna-Puri Special Express:

Train no- 08439, Puri-Patna Special Express from Puri will leave at 1455hrs (02.55 pm) on every Saturday till Nov 26, 2022.

Train no- 08440, Patna-Puri Special Express from Patna will leave at 1330hrs (01.30 pm) on every Sunday till Nov 27, 2022.

This train will provide stoppages at Khordha Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijli, Adra, Asansol, Jasidih, Jhajha, and Kiul between Puri and Patna from both directions. 

Train no- 03230, Patna-Puri Special Express from Patna will leave at 0845hrs (08.45 am) on every Thursday from Oct 27 to Nov 10, 2022.

Train no- 03229, Puri-Patna Special Express from Puri will leave at 1455hrs (02.55 pm) on every Friday from Oct 28 to Nov 11, 2022.

This train will provide stoppages at Bakhtiyarpur, Barh, Mokama, Kiul, Jhajha, Jasidih, Madhupur, Chittaranjan, Asansol, Adra, Bankura, Midnapur, Hijli, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khordha Road between Patna and Puri from both the directions. 

Nanded-Brahmapur-Nanded Special train:

Train no- 07431, Nanded-Brahmapur Special Express from Nanded will leave at 1525hrs (03.25 pm) on every Saturday from Oct 01 to 08, 2022.

Train no 07432, Brahmapur-Nanded Special Express from Brahmapur will leave at 1630hrs (04.30 pm) on every Sunday from Oct 02 to 09, 2022. 

Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Special:

Train no 08579, Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Special Express from Visakhapatnam will leave at 1900hrs (07.00 pm) on every Wednesday from Oct 05 to 26, 2022.

Similarly, train no 08580 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special Express from Secunderabad will leave at 1940hrs (07.40 pm) on every Thursday from Oct 06 to 27, 2022. 

Visakhapatnam-Mahbubnagar Special:

Train no 08585, Visakhapatnam-Mahbubnagar Special Express from Visakhapatnam will leave at 1735hrs (05.35 pm) on every Tuesday from Oct 04 to 25, 2022.

Similarly, train no 08586, Mahbubnagar-Visakhapatnam Special Express from Mahbubnagar will leave at 1820hrs (06.20 pm) on every Wednesday from Oct 05 to 26, 2022.  

Visakhapatnam-Bengaluru Cant.-Visakhapatnam:

Train no 08543, Visakhapatnam-Bengaluru Cant. Super Fast Special Express from Visakhapatnam will leave at 1555hrs (03.55 pm) on every Sunday from Oct 02 to 30, 2022.

Similarly, train no 08544, Bengaluru Cant-Visakhapatnam Super Fast Special Express from Bengaluru Cant. will leave at 1550hrs (03.50 pm) on every Monday from Oct 03 to 31, 2022. 

Visakhapatnam-Tirupati-Visakhapatnam:

Train no 08583, Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Special Express from Visakhapatnam will leave at 1910hrs (07.10 pm) on every Monday from Oct 03 to 31, 2022.

On the other hand, train no 08584, Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Special Express from Tirupati will leave at 2155hrs (09.55 pm) on every Tuesday from Oct 04 to Nov 01, 2022. 

Visakhapatnam-Araku Special:

Train with nos 08509/08510 Visakhapatnam-Araku-Visakhapatnam Special Express from Visakhapatnam will leave at 0830hrs (08.30 am) and from Araku will leave at 1400hrs (02.00 pm) from Oct 01 to 09, 2022 from both the directions.
