East Coast Railway Cancels & Reschedules Trains Due To Modernisation Works; Check Details

The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has released an important notice for the passengers regarding the rescheduling of some trains owing to safety-related modernisation work in Budhapank-Talcher Road-Angul railway section.

As per reports, some trains on the route from both directions will remain cancelled from both directions till January 10 from January 8, 2022 in view of the commissioning of the fourth line between Talcher Road and Budhapank and intermediate block signalling between Angul and Talcher Road.

The passengers have been advised to plan their journey according to avoid any inconvenience.

Cancellation of trains from both directions from January 8, 2022 to January 10, 2022:

A. 18105/18106 Rourkela- Puri-Rourkela Express from both sides from January 8 to January 10

B. 08428 Puri-Angul Special from Puri from January 7 to January 10, 2022

C. 08427 Angul-Puri Special from Angul on January 8, 2022.

Diversion of trains via Angul-Talcher Road-Talcher-Budhapank:

-12894 Balangir-Bhubaneswar Intercity from Balangir on January 8, 9 and January 10, 2022.

-12879 LTT- Bhubaneswar

-12993 Gandhidham-Puri

-18117 Rourkela-Gunupur Rajyarani

-20814 Jodhpur-Puri

-20818 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express during the period

Rescheduling of trains:

A. 22840 Bhubaneswar-Rourkela SF from Bhubaneswar on January 7 will leave 1425 hours instead of 1340 hourrs

B. 22805 Bhubaneswar-Anandvihar SF from Bhubaneswar on January 8 will leave at 1500 hours instead of 1230 hours
