Dog mauls 3 YO girl, leaves 12 injured in Odisha’s Bolangir

A three-year-old girl was killed while 12 others were left injured after being bitten by a stray dog in Balipata village under Patnagarh block in Bolangir district.

According to sources, a stray dog was found roaming around Balipata village in the morning today. The canine later bit several people in the village and also ran away to nearby Kalangapalli village where it also attacked some others.

A three year old girl sustained serious injuries in the attack by the dog. She was immediately admitted to Patnagarh hospital. However, the little girl breathed her last while undergoing treatment at the medical.

Out of 12 other people injured in the dog attack, some have been shifted to Patnagarh Sub division hospital while a few are being provided ayurvedic medicines.
