Delhi police issues notice to Varsha Priyadarshini over 'casteist' remark

The SDJM court in Cuttack had on June 2 directed Varsha to vacate her husband's house. The court had asked Anubhav to pay Rs 30,000 to Varsha on/before 10th of every month for her accommodation.

North Avenue Police, Delhi on Friday issued notice to Ollywood actress Varsha Priyadarshini for her alleged casteist remark against a staff of her husband and BJD MP Anubhav Mohanty. 

Purighat Police in Cuttack has also been reportedly informed about the same.

It is worthwhile to mention that the SDJM court in Cuttack had on June 2 directed Varsha to vacate her husband's house. The court had asked Anubhav to pay Rs 30,000 to Varsha on/before 10th of every month for her accommodation. 

However, the Cuttack district court put a stay on the SDJM's earlier order directing Varsha to vacate her husband Anubhav's home with monthly maintenance money of Rs 30,000.

Later, Anubhav sent a holy book to Varsha through her lawyer following the hearing at the family court in Cuttack.
