Coast guard helicopter makes emergency landing in Puri

A helicopter of the Indian coast guard made an emergency landing at a helipad in the pilgrim city of Puri on Saturday. 

The helicopter landed at Talabania helipad in the afternoon due to technical snags. 

As per sources, technical snags were detected in the helicopter when the personnel of the Indian coast guards were patrolling over Puri sea. Soon after the helicopter made an emergency landing at the nearby Talabania helipad. 

The coastguard personnel said, due to the emergency landing at the helipad which was in the proximity, a major mishap was averted.
