After a gap of more than 10 years, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is likely to embark on a foreign tour towards the end of June.

According to sources, the Chief Minister will visit Dubai to take part in Investors’ Meet which will be organised by Industrial Promotion & Investment Corporation of Odisha (IPICOL), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and Dubai-based Indian Consulate.

At the event, the CM is expected to urge investors to invest in bulk in Odisha.

Besides, the Chief Minister is scheduled to attend a programme which will be sponsored by members of UAE Odia Samaj and Dubai-based Non-Residents Odia (NROs).

However, the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) has not issued any statement so far confirming the visit of the CM.

Notably, Patnaik had gone on a foreign tour for the last time in May, 2012 to attend London Business Meet.
