BJP national president JP Nadda will reach Bhubaneswar at 10 am on September 29 and from there, he will be escorted to the party state headquarters in a procession, informed party’s state general secretary Golak Mohapatra on Saturday.

Addressing media in the State capital, the saffron party leader said, “Nadda will attend panchayat-level conference at Janata Maidan on September 29.”

The next day, the BJP chief will visit Puri Srimandir and offer prayer to the holy Trinity. Later in the day, he will visit Dhamnagar and meet the family members of late BJP MLA Bishnu Sethi, who recently died while undergoing treatment for kidney aliments at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar,” Mohapatra added.

Besides, he will attend a joint conference at Janata Maidan at 11 am on September 30, Mohapatra informed.

Along with Nadda, the workshop will be attended by party's National General Secretary BL Santosh and Odisha in-charge Sunil Bansal.

It’s worthwhile to mention here that, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had recently visited Odisha where he expressed his displeasure over the party’s weak organisational structure in the state. Shah gave workers a success mantra.

Shah had taken strong exception to the party winning fewer seats in the state in Panchayat elections in 2022 as compared to 2017 and not implementing the tasks assigned.
