Air carrier IndiaOne Air is all set to commence the inaugural flight service between Odisha capital city Bhubaneswar and Jeypore under the Centre's regional air connectivity scheme from October 31.

Interested people can log in to the official website of IndiaOne Air to book their tickets. IndiaOne Air has launched a limited introductory offer of tickets at Rs 999 to celebrate first scheduled flight to the city.

The flight from Bhubaneswar is scheduled to take off at 10.45 am and the flight will arrive at the destination at 12.30 pm, according to the IndiaOne Air website.

A week ago, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) had granted Jeypore Airport the license to carry out commercial flight operations under the regional connectivity scheme. Jeypore becomes the first state-owned airport to get the licence to operate flights in Odisha.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation said the airport, 33 km northwest of Koraput town and around 500 km southwest of Bhubaneswar, would boost tourism and development of the region.
