Apply Permission For Marriage Ceremonies, Funeral In Bhubaneswar Online; Know How

The Bhubaneswar Police on Wednesday launched a web-based solution to receive and grant permissions for marriage ceremonies and funeral rituals under the jurisdiction of Bhubaneswar Urban Police District.

The Deputy Commissioneer’s Office in Bhubaneswar issued a statement in this connection and urged people in the smart city to apply online on their portal.

The DCP requested to log in to their website https://bhubaneswarcuttackpolice.gov.in/ and scroll down in the page to click on the tabs ‘Apply for Marriage License or ‘Apply for Funeral Ritual’ under ‘Citizen Services’ column and fill up the application form.

Apart from this, the applicant can type http://115.243.153.201:2000/ to directly go to the page to fill up the form for marriage permissions and type http://115.243.153.201:8088/Applicant/Application to directly fill the form for funeral permission.

The Bhubaneswar UPD has also issued a phone number (8144207100) to assist people who want to know more on the application process. The number will be operational on all days from 10am till 5:30pm except second Saturday, fourth Saturday, Sundays and other public holidays.
