The marital discord between Kendrapara MP and Ollywood actor Anubhav Mohanty and his estranged wife Varsha Priyadarshini seems to be getting more escalated and complicated with each passing day.

After the social media war, the actor-turned-politician now lodged a complaint against Varsha with the Enforcement Directorate (ED) accusing the latter of evading tax by illegal means. In his letter to ED, Anubhav has sought a thorough probe into the matter. Before already Anubhav released many videos on social media, in his last video he said 'you've killed me, I am living a dead man's life'.

In his complaint, Anubhav Mohanty has mentioned that Varsha is evading taxes by forging her identity in various government documents and in the process she has accumulated black money.

As per the complaint, Varsha has intentionally given multiple identities like Varsha Priya Darshini Sahu, Barsha Priya Darshini Sahu, Barsha Priya Darshini and Varsha Priya Darshini in various government documents. The actress has different titles on her Matriculation certificate, Birth certificate, PAN card, and Passport. She has several bank accounts with different names.

As per the allegation by Anubhav, Varsha was earning Rs 20 lakh per film and Rs 2 crore annually before her marriage. However, it is not sure whether she has paid her income tax or not.

Besides, Anubhav has reportedly written a letter to the Joint Director of Bhubaneswar zonal office ED in this regard.

Earlier, Anubhav had raised the issue in different sections of media. In his letter to ED, Anubhav has demanded a thorough probe into the incident.

However, the comments of both Anubhav and Varsha could not be obtained in this matter.

Notably, Varsha had filed a fresh complaint against Anubhav with the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) Court for not refraining from social media posts against her despite High Court’s directive. As per the complaint, Anubhav is continuing to tarnish her image by posting videos on social media.
