The Commissionerate Police has received the post-mortem report of Ollywood actor Raimohan Parida, who was found hanging in his home recently. 

The post-mortem report confirmed that the actor died of asphyxia due to hanging with a rope, informed sources at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar.

As per the report, the minor injuries on his body were caused when the actor made attempt to hang himself.

A team of doctors and other staff of Capital Hospital had conducted the post-mortem report which has been handed over to the Commissionerate Police.

Meanwhile, viscera report, which is being prepared by a laboratory, is awaited to know that weather Raimohan was intoxicated or under the spell of alcohol.

After receiving the report, Commissionerate Police will take forward the probe into the case. 

As per Bhubaneswar DCP, Raimohan was under depression. The actor also went to Mancheswar police station for a personal work and given an undertaking.

As per police sources, an investigation has been launched to know the reason behind Raimohan’s depression.

The noted Odia film actor and jatra artiste was found hanging at his residence in Bhubaneswar's Prachi Vihar area on Friday. Earlier it was suspected that the actor ended his life by suicide while the reason for taking such an extreme step is yet to be ascertained.

Police have already questioned Parida’s two daughters, son-in-law, wife and nephew in this regard. Even Parida’s mobile phone has been seized and handed over to the technical team for analysis.
