Ollywood actor Tanmay Mohanty, popularly known as Babushaan arrived at Bhubaneswar airport from Chennai of Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. Some relatives of the actor received him at the airport.

The actor flew back to the city from Chennai this morning amid the ongoing controversy involving his co-actor Prakruti Mishra and wife Trupti Satpathy.

“I will give my comments later and answer each and every question. Let me meet my parents first,” said the actor after landing at the airport.

As per one of his relatives, Babushaan’s father is unwell and the actor went home directly to meet him.

Another relative Rabi Mishra informed that Babushaan is asleep and he will talk with the media persons after waking up.

“Babushaan has not taken a nap for last two days. He is unwell and asleep now. You all have been waiting for so long. I am thankful to all of you on behalf of his family members. He will call all of you in a day or two and tell his real story,” said Mishra.

“We missed the flight in Chennai yesterday. We caught the next flight and reached Bhubaneswar today,” he said.
According to sources, the police are likely to record Babushan’s statement today in connection with the recent street fight involving his wife Trupti and co-actor Prakruti Mishra.

Yesterday, the actor was spotted at Chennai airport. However, contrary to speculations that he was returning home Tuesday, the actor did not show up at Bhubaneswar airport .

Notably, Kharabela Nagar police on Tuesday questioned actress Prakruti in connection with the incident at her residence at Satya Vihar in Bhubaneswar. Prakruti was questioned by a lady police official for nearly an hour in presence of her parents and family members.

Police have also served notices to Babushaan and Prakruti based on the complaint filed by the former's wife Trupti.
