Four students of a private engineering college in Bhubaneswar have reportedly gone missing since February 11, 2022.

As per reports, all the four belonged to the state of Jharkhand and were living in a rented accommodation in the Kalinga Vihar area under Tamando Police limits in Bhubaneswar.

The parents of the missing students met the Twin City Police Commissioner on Monday to seek the whereabouts of their children.

Speaking to reporters, a parent of a missing student said, “My son has been missing since February 11. They were four of them, all students, staying together and all of them are missing. Nobody seems to know the reason behind their sudden disappearance.”

“The mobile phones of all the four are switched off and we cannot make any contact with them,” he added.

Similarly, another parent who had come to meet the CP said, “They have not left any letter or message behind. So it is really hard to guess the reason behind their disappearance. The police have assured us to find them soon though.”

A missing complaint has already been lodged at the Tamando Police station and the police are conducting a probe in this connection.
