As many as 34 bonded labourers from Odisha’s Nuapada district have alleged inhuman torture by the owner of a brick kiln in Telangana. The hapless labourers have pleaded the State government to rescue them at the earliest, through a video.

As per reports, the labourers hailing from Belgaon, Kotribahal, Malpada, Lohandopali and Thakurpali villages, under Komna Block of Nuapada district, were employed at a brick kiln under Bangiri police limits in Telangana. The labourers went for work to the neighbouring state in December 2021 with the help of a middleman.

However, the owner of the brick kiln tortured and abused them physically, alleged the labourers through the video.
