2 killed, over 20 injured in separate road accidents in Odisha

Two youths died and over 20 were injured in two separate road accidents in Odisha on Sunday. In Nuapada district, a truck reportedly hit a tractor from behind near Kurumpuri under Lakhanpur police limits killing two persons on the spot.

Police are yet to ascertain the identity of the deceased. Meanwhile, two others injured in the accident have been admitted to a nearby hospital.

In another road mishap, around 18 passengers sustained injuries after the bus they were travelling in was hit by a speeding truck near Meherpada at Barpali in Bargarh district. The bus was reportedly en route to Jharsuguda. 

Till the last report came in, all the injured were admitted to Barpali hospital and their condition was stable.
