"Will Become Judge, Punish Criminals": Patnagarh Tehsildar Elated Over 10 YO Girl's Statement

Patnagarh Tehsildar got overwhelmed with the response of a 10-year-old girl and offered her chair to the girl after she shared about her ambition of becoming a judge and punishing criminals. 

Moreover, the Tehsildar shared a photograph of the child, while she was seating on her chair. Her post read: "She drew my attention with the confidence with which she walked into my chamber alone for a certificate and obliged me by sparing her few min, She wants to become a judge and punish bad people. Now, she is preparing for Navodaya entrance." 

As per reports, the 10-year-old girl Subhashree Sahoo, who is currently studying in a government school in Patnagarh visited the Tehsildar office to obtain a residential certificate for transferring to Navodaya Vidyalaya. 

The girl had to wait for an extended time outside the chamber of the Tehsildar. However, after waiting for a long time, the girl entered the chamber. 

The Tehsildar saw the brave small girl entering her chamber all alone, and inquired about certain things. 

"When I entered her chamber, she asked me about my aim to which I responded of becoming a judge. Next, she asked me why I wanted to become a judge, to which, I said there is a high spike in crime rate and cases of women harassment. Even criminals are not being punished at the right time," the 10-year-old girl narrated in her reaction over the incident.

Getting elated over her response, the government official invited the girl to sit on her chair and captured the cozy moment in her phone camera. 

"It is uncommon to find any child to enter into government office all alone. In general, parents accompany children to the office. However, this girl dared to enter the chamber all alone. Though I was busy listening to some other person's grievance, I inquired the girl about her ambition. Children usually reply about becoming doctor or engineer, but for the first time, this girl shared about her ambition to become a judge," said Pushpanjali Panda, Tehsildar, Patnagarh.
