A woman attempted suicide by consuming poison in front of a police station in Ganjam district on Wednesday over alleged harassment by her in-laws for dowry.

The woman identified by her first name, Jhili, consumed poison in front of Chatrapur model police station. She was shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in a critical condition.
