UPSC releases notification for geo-scientist exam 2023; apply for 285 vacancies

UPSC Civil Services Mains Result Declared, Personality Test From April 5

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for Combined Geo-Scientist Examination-2023.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts by visiting the official website of the commission-- upsconline.nic.in before 11 October till 6 pm.

The commission will fill up 285 vacancies for various posts including Geologist, Geophysicist, Chemist and Scientist ‘B’ posts under the recruitment drive.

UPSC has scheduled the combined Geo-scientist preliminary examination-2023 for 19 February 2023.

Age limit

Candidates must be in the age group 21 to 32 years of age. Relaxation in the upper age limit is available for reserved category candidates.

Application Fee

Candidate need to pay Rs 200 towards the examination fee. However, candidates belonging to Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability categories are exempted from paying the fee.

  • Click on “One-time registration (OTR)”
  • Create a registration profile
  • Fill in the application form, upload necessary documents
  • Pay the fee
  • Submit and save for future purposes
