The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released an important notice for the Civil Services candidates ahead of the Main exam. As per the notice, candidates can confirm/revise the choice of their centre for Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2021.

The Commission will conduct the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2021 for 5 days on 07.01.2022, 08.01.2022, 09.01.2022, 15.01.2022 & 16.01.2022, as per the Revised Programme of examinations.

Keeping in view the requests of the candidates for allowing change in their centre for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2021, the Commission has decided to give an opportunity to all the candidates of this examination for revising their Examination Centre, if required, read the notice.

Candidates should note that this facility will be part of the Detailed Application Form-I which will be made available shortly on the Commission’s website. “The candidates are advised to take due care while revising their Centre for Examination,” it read further.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Centre once opted in the Detailed Application Form‐I will be considered as final and the Commission will not entertain any request in this regard, thereafter.

Recently, UPSC declared the result of the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2021. The Prelim exam was held on October 10, 2021.

The Commission had then informed candidates that marks, cut off marks and answer keys of CS (P) Examination, 2021 would be uploaded on the Commission’s website i.e. https://upsc.gov.in only after the entire process of the Civil Services Examination, 2021 is over i.e. after the declaration of final result.
