UPSC IES/ISS Exam 2025 registration begins; check eligibility criteria to all details
The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC has opened the registration window for the UPSC IES/ISS Exam 2025.
Those candidates, who are keen to apply for the Indian Economic Service (IES) or Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination, can find the direct link on the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in.
The link for registration is also provided at upsconline.gov.in. The closing date to apply is March 4, 2025.
There will be a correction window from March 5 to March 11, 2025.
Indian Economic Service (IES): 12 posts
Indian Statistical Service (ISS): 35 posts
Indian Economic Service: The candidates should hold a Post-Graduate Degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Business Economics, or Econometrics from a recognized Indian university, an institution formed by an Act of Parliament, or a foreign university recognised by the Central Government.
Indian Statistical Service: Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, or Applied Statistics or a Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, or Applied Statistics from an approved university or institution.
Applicants' maximum age limit should be 21 to 30 years as on August 1, 2025, so the candidates must have been born between August 2, 1995, and August 1, 2004.
Candidates, other than Female, SC, ST, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (who are exempted), have to pay an application fee of Rs 200. The fee is payable through:

Internet Banking of any bank
