The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Detailed Application Form (DAF) on its official website for the upcoming UPSC Civil Services Exam 2021.

The Main Examination in the scheme of the Civil Services Examination, 2021 for the services and posts mentioned in preamble to the Rules will be held from January 7, 2022. The detailed Time Table of Examination will be made available along with the e-Admit Card, an official notification read.

The qualified candidates seeking admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination must apply online through the Commission’s website (www.upsc.gov.in) by filling the Detailed Application Form - I (DAF – I). The last date for submission of applications is December 1, 2021.

The Main Examination will be held at following Centres:

Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Prayagraj (Allahabad), Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh,Chennai, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla, Thiruvananthapuram and Vijayawada.

Instructions:

- The candidates must carry their Photo ID Proof submitted by them while applying for Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2021 to the Examination Venues for Civil Services (Main) Examination along with the e-Admit Card in support of their identity.

-Candidates will not be allowed to change optional subject, Indian language paper (Paper A) and medium of examination they have already indicated

-No request for withdrawal of candidature received from a candidate after submission of application will be entertained.

- Candidates applying (Except Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) for Civil Services (Main) Examination are required to pay a fee of Rs 200.
