UPSC CDS 2 notification out for over 450 posts, check details

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published an official notification for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) 2 examination.

Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the posts on upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.

The application process has commenced and the last date to apply for the post is June 4, 2024.

UPSC Recruitment Details

Total Vacancy: 459 posts

• Indian Military Academy's159th course: 100 posts

• Indian Naval Academy course: 32 posts

• Air Force Academy Pre-Flying Training course: 32 posts

• Officers’ Training academy's 122nd SSC (Men) (NT) (UPSC) course: 276 posts

• Officers Training Academy's 36th SSC Women (NT) (UPSC) course: 19 posts

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates aspiring for the Indian Military Academy (IMA) and Officers’ Training Academy must possess a graduation degree from a recognized university. For the Naval Academy, an engineering degree is necessary, while for the Air Force, candidates need either a graduation degree with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Application Fee

Candidates except Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee, are required to pay a fee of Rs 200 either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using internet banking facility of any Bank.

• Upload all required documents

• Pay the application fee and submit the form
