UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2024: Apply for Assistant Commandant posts, check details

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published an official notification for recruitment of Assistant Commandant at the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).

Eligible and interested candidates can apply for UPSC CAPF 2024 on the commission's website, upsconline.nic.in.

The application process has already commenced on April 24 and the last date to submit the application form is May 14, 2024.

Applicants have the opportunity to make edits to their applications between May 15 and May 21, 2024.

Total Vacancy: 506 posts

• Boarder Security Force (BSF): 186 posts

• Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF): 120 posts

• Central Industrial Security Force (CISF): 100 posts

• Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP): 58 posts

• Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB): 42 posts

Age Limit

A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on August 1, 2024. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable as per government rules.

Educational Qualification

A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.

Application Fee

Candidates (except Female/SC/ST Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay fee of Rs 200 either by remitting the money in any Branch of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using Internet Banking of any Bank.
