UGC recruitment 2022: Vacancies announced for secretary, financial advisor posts

The University Grants Commission (UGC) on Thursday invited online applications for the post of Secretary and Financial Advisor.

The application form can be filled online at www.ugc.ac.in/jobs. Interested candidates need to go through the application process available on the above website.

Last date for filling up online form is 30.09.2022 (midnight), the UGC advertisement read.

UGC Vacancy Details:

1. Secretary: 1 post

Pay Scale: Level-15 Rs. 1,82,200-2,24,100 in Pay Matrix (Pre-revised 67000-79000) plus admissible allowances as admissible to University Grants Commission employees on deputation/contract basis.

Method of selection and tenure: By transfer on deputation or on contract.

2. Financial Advisor: 1 post

Pay Scale: Pay Level-14 Rs.144200-218200 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC (Pre-revised Rs.37400-67000+Rs. 10000GP) plus admissible allowances as applicable from time to time to University Grants Commission employees.

Method of selection and tenure: By transfer on deputation or on contract. Deputation/contract period shall normally be 5 years.

Eligibility: Officers belonging to All India Services/Central Civil Services (Group A) with 17 years service in Group A and holding analogous posts. Other things being equal, preference shall be given to the officers belonging to Audit and Accounts Services.
